Did you know that the remains of St Valentine are in The Carmelite Church in Whitefrier Street, in Dublin.? I have been there many times.

Great story! I think many of us would have felt the same as you did…baffled by unfamiliar customs, questioning the worth of a long and dangerous journey for such a short visit, and comparing it to the “our” ways…whether that is European or American or anywhere else. I always enjoy your posts, but I particularly like that you tie everything up with an important lesson. Thanx for sharing this and reminding us of the meaning and worth to others!

Will forward this to story to Grainne, She may tell you about her cycling in Dublin, as it is also her mode of transport. Don’t think she will be taking her bike with her to Nicaragua, Costa Rica or Panama in mid June. Well I hope not anyway.
